Dotsyndicate stay perfect as Growing Tree keep the pressure on in Week 5

Match Week 5 of Season 03 delivered goals across the board, with the top of the table still separated by the finest of margins.

Dotsyndicate FC kept their unbeaten record intact with a 2-1 win over GF Trucks, a result that keeps them top on 14 points from five games. Right behind them, Growing Tree were ruthless in a 3-0 shutout of Dar Glass, moving to 13 points with a goal difference of plus ten and five wins from five.

SS Leopards showed their attacking teeth again in a 4-1 win at Rungu FC, sitting third on 12 points. Masumin needed only a single goal to see off Murji Sundries 1-0, and that 1-0 is enough to keep them level on 12 points in fourth. Tiba FC completed the top five on 11 points after a convincing 4-1 win over RAFIKI.

Elsewhere, Smiles Cars produced the biggest scoreline of the week, putting five past Smart Safiri in a 5-2 win. U World edged a seven-goal thriller 3-2 at Power Computers, while Care & Cure came away from Fidahussein & Co with a 2-1 win. MO Simba took the points from IRH by the same 2-1 margin.

The only side to share the spoils were Double Click and Fragrance World, who played out a 1-1 draw.

With 25 minutes on the clock in every fixture, there's little room for a slow start, and the goal tallies this week showed it. Three points separate first from fifth heading into the next round of matches, so the chasing pack will fancy their chances of closing that gap.
